Sportmenta program

Project title: Sportmenta program

Project owner: The Comprehensibly for Health and for the Future of Medical Practitioners and Skilled Health Workers Public Benefit Foundation

Short summary of the project

We are fully committed to find and adopt methods and practices from abroad that can be applied in Hungary for developing the psychological conditions of children who play professional handball.

We would like to study and understand how the psychological knowledge accumulated in the Norwegian healthcare system percolates and radiates to the field of sports and youth training. Our goal is to gain some insights into the sport psychological methods and practices of the Norwegian Handball Federation and the Senthallvard handball club. We are especially keen on observing how the handball club organizes the everyday operations of its adult professional team and the youth training programs and what are those paradigms it applies for mental trainings, health preservation and prevention.

The Norwegian Healthcare Directorate is responsible for providing the conditions of constant and high-quality development of the Norwegian healthcare system. It concentrate on security, efficiency, coordination, continuity and health-improvement, with prevention as a centrepiece. It would be crucial for us to understand how these conditions facilitate the improvement of children both in their physical and mental activities.
