The official opening performed by the National Health Service Center’s (NHSC) representatives, was followed by a series of lectures. First Heidi Lyshol from the Norwegian Institute for Public Health made her presentation on the importance and significance of national databases and registers, used in the field of mental health. Introduction to the national policy trends of mental health development was given in the framework of lectures by the experts of the NHSC. Mr. Péter Bezzegh spoke about possibilities of institutional capacity development in the theme of mental health development. Dr. Tamás Koós introduced professional guidelines and orientations of the child & adolescent psychiatry care system’s development, where as Dr. Péter Blazsek presented the same themes for the specialised psychiatry care system for adults. Dr. Barnabás Margitai outlined results achieved in the GP cluster model programme.
Following lunch break, lecturers discussed possibilities of future development and harmonization of professional trends and guidelines in the framework of a moderated panel discussion, which also gave opportunity to have an interactive Q&A session with the audience.
